Barbara Nell Schmucker

Barbara Nell Schmucker, age 66, of Shoals, passed away September 4, 2021, in Jasper, Indiana. She was born April 1, 1955, in Chelsea, Massachusetts to Harry F. and Betty L. (Suter) Heath. She married Steven Schmucker on October 16, 1998, and he survives. She attended Woodrow Wilson High School in Portsmouth, Virginia and was retired Process Engineer for an Electronics Firm. Survivors include her husband, Steven; daughter, Carey (Brad) Bowling; stepdaughter Amanda (Nunzio) Iadevaia; one grandson, Nevan Schmucker; four granddaughters, Ivy Rose Iadevaia, Anna Lee Iadevaia, Cassidy Brooke Bowling and Addison Jordan Bowling; six siblings, Audrey Ramsey, James Heath, Joe Heath, John Heath, Jeff Heath and Jason Heath; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cremation was chosen. The Queen-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes has been entrusted with the arrangements.
