Connie L Jones

Connie L. Jones, age 66, passed away peacefully at her home in Shoals, on Saturday, June 22, 2019. Connie was born on May 16, 1953 in Daviess County, to the late Amos and Ethel (Kelsey) Jones. She married Ronald “Steve” Jones on November 21, 1970. Connie retired from the Shoals Community School Cafeteria in 2008 after 19 years of serving countless children every day with her always present smile. She loved her family, friends and the Lord deeply. She attended the Springs Valley Wesleyan Church in French Lick. Survivors include her loving husband Steve of 48 years; one son Aaron (Andrea) Jones; four grandchildren, Ethan (Morgan), Austin, Jaden and Ava Jones; great-grandson Walker Jones; sister Judith A. Jones; niece Rogiann (TJ) Price and nephews Jason P Jones of Shoals and Matt Jones of Centerville, VA. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Roger Jones, and nephew Shannon Jones. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 26th at 11:00 am at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals with Pastor John Moffatt officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Shoals. Visitation will be 4-8 pm Tuesday at the Queen-Lee Chapel in Shoals. The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
