Harry Ollis “Bub” Freeman Jr., 60, of Shoals, passed away surrounded by the people who loved him most on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Deaconess Hospital, Evansville.

Born October 13, 1962, in Washington, he was the son of Harry Ollis Sr and Mary Helen (Stone) Freeman.

He attended Shoals High School and was a lifelong truck driver and diesel mechanic for multiple companies throughout Southern Indiana

Bub was an avid softball player, outdoorsman, Harley-Davidson fanatic, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He married Janell Franklin on July 11, 2020 and she survives.

Surviving are his wife, Janell; daughters, Amy (JD) Freeman and Shara Freeman, and their mother, Brenda Freeman; son, Alex Mattingly; grandchildren, Addy Emerick, Mary Emerick, and Penelope Walker; 2 sisters, Shelly K Dillon and Diane Freeman; brother, Mark Ray Tedrow; several nieces; and one nephew.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Renee Tedrow; and brother, David, in infancy.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at the Queen-Lee Chapel of George Funeral Care in Shoals with Pastor Caleb Moffatt officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 A.M. until the service hour on Wednesday at the Queen-Lee Chapel.
