Kathy L. (Murray) Tolbert

October 29, 1956 – October 14, 2024

Kathy L. Tolbert age 67, of Loogootee formerly of Shoals, passed October 14, 2024, at her residence. She was born October 29, 1956, in Shoals, Indiana, the daughter of Walter and Pauline (Wininger) Murray. She was a graduate of Shoals High School, was a cook at the Martin County Security Center and was a member of the Shoals Nazarene Church. 

Survivors include one brother, Victor Murry; one sister, Geneva Engen; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Robert Tolbert; one daughter, Kasey Murray; one sister, Barbara Freeman; one brother, Bryan Murray: and step dad, Robert “Hale” Murray. 

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery.  

Memorial contributions may be made to The Queen-Lee Chapel to assist with final expenses. 

The Queen-Lee Chapel of George Family Funeral Care has been entrusted with the arrangements.
