Raymond Asbell

Raymond Asbell, 66, of Loogootee, Indiana passed away at his residence on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. He was born on August 22, 1948 in Daviess County, Indiana to the late George T. and Barbara J. (Sanders) Asbell. He married Ruth Ann Johnson and she preceded him in death in 2014. He was formerly employed as a machine operator for Ditto Sales in Jasper and was a graduate of Shoals High School. He is survived by one son, Brian R. Asbell of Loogootee One granddaughter, Tori Asbell of Loogootee Two sisters, Karen and husband David Goller of Shoals Patty and husband Ralph Morris of Bedford Several nieces and nephews. Also preceding him in death is a son Scott Asbell in 2013 and one brother Gary Asbell. A memorial service will be planned for a later date.
